The second version of Maquinaria Festival was lived this weekend, at the Club Hípico of Santiago de Chile, with several things going for it: it increased the number of artists, corrected some bad past decisions and better defined his audience in the rock.

Except for Chris Cornell acoustic set, the rest solid line shows the according environment.

Alice In Chains was another story. Few groups after the a death of his vocalist can do much justice to his repertoire and generate that empathy with the audience. Solid, hand in hand with Jerry Cantrell, the Seattle band gave everything and showed his broad palette of nuances because they were called "aliens" in the grunge scene.

Faith No More decided to surprise them with a different show and he did it just grew. A success.

There were problems in the VIP area and an impressive difference between the technical resources of the two main stages and the "electro / alternative". If this is a festival of rock, that is why.
